Area citizens are invited to attend a memorial service in recognition of First Responders and others who perished in the attacks on September 11, 2001. It will be held at the flag pole of Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. Church bells will toll at 8:46 to mark when Tower 1 of the World Trade Center in New York City, NY, was struck.
