Morrison Kiwanis Club and MHS Key Club Egg Hunt will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at Kiwanis Park, 700 block of N. Genesee Street, in Morrison, IL, on Saturday, April 9, 2022. The annual egg hunt is for all area children through age nine. There is no registration or charge.
Facial masks are encouraged for all unvaccinated attendees. Hand sanitation stations will be available.
There are four age groups: two and under (accompanied by parent or guardian); three and four; five and six; seven-to-nine.
A Morrison Fire Department engine will deliver the Easter Bunny to the park shortly before 10:00. There will be a brief opportunity to capture a photo before egg-gathering begins. Bring a container and, if desired, a means to take photos.
Before leaving, empty the plastic eggs to check for prize notes; return empty eggs to Kiwanis containers for use next year.
Special Easter Baskets will be awarded. Some eggs contain coupons for special treats from McDonald’s, Family Chef, DQ Grill & Chill, and Happy Joe’s Pizza.
Katherine Frederick will have special treats for those who cannot have candy. Make substitutions after the hunt is ended.
