Bethesda Lutheran Church, 301 W. South Street, will hold a Maundy Thursday, April 1, in-person service at 7:00 p.m., with Holy Communion celebrated. Viewers can watch the live-streamed broadcast on Facebook. Good Friday Worship is April 2, at 7:00 p.m. Easter Morning worship, Sunday, April 4, is at 7:00 and 9:00 a.m., with Holy Communion. Persons can attend in person or watch live-streaming on Facebook. Face masks are required entering and exiting the church.
Brethren in Christ Church, 209 E. Knox Street, will hold a Maundy Thursday, April 1, Foot Washing service at 6:00 p.m., with Holy Communion offered, followed by a free dinner at 6:45. All are welcome to attend. Easter Sunday, April 4, will be a Resurrection service with music at 10:30 a.m.
Church of Saint Anne-Episcopal, 401 N. Cherry Street, offers in-person-only Mass on Maundy Thursday, April 1, at 5:30 p.m., with Stripping of the Altar. The Watch begins after Mass on-line and at home. On Good Friday, April 2, at 9:00 a.m., The Watch ends with in-person Stations of the Cross. “Seven Last Words of Christ from the Cross” Morrison Ministerial Council on-line video. At 5:30 p.m., Veneration of the Cross and Mass of the Pre-Sanctified in-person. Sunday, April 4, Easter Day, The Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, 9:00 a.m. in-person Mass; 10:30 a.m. on-line Mass from the Rectory. Masks are required. Crossroads Community Church, 201 W. Market Street, will hold a 4:00 p.m., Good Friday, April 2, Prayer Walk along Main Street, returning to the Crossroads campus. Inside, participants will discuss the Seven Words of Jesus from the Cross; watch a 20-minute video; receive Holy Communion. There will be three worship services on Easter Sunday, April 4: 7:30, 9:00, and 10:30 a.m. Wrapped baked goods and coffee will be available in the cafeteria. Ebenezer Reformed Church, 309 E. Park Street, will hold Maundy Thursday, April 1, services begin at 6:00 p.m. and include Holy Communion. A Sunrise Service on Easter Sunday, April 4, will be held in the parking lot at 7:00 a.m. Inside, hot drinks, juice boxes, and cinnamon rolls will be served after this service. The second Easter service is at 9:30. Face masks are required entering and exiting the church. A car caravan will drive around the parking lots of three Senior care faclities to visit family members and friends.
Emmanuel Reformed Church, 202 E. Morris Street, will hold a Maundy Thursday service, at 7:00 p.m. on April 1, which includes Holy Communion. On Easter Sunday, April 4, worship services are at 8:30 a.m. (masks mandatory) and 10:00 (masks recommended.) The 10:00 service features music by First Sunday Praise Team; the Sanctuary Choir will sing “Hallelujah Chorus” and “Mercy Tree.” Sunday Coffee hour is from 9:00 to 10:00, with individual, packaged items.
First Presbyterian Church of Morrison, 100 E. Lincolnway, will hold all Holy Week services via live-streaming; there will be no in-person attendance. Morrison Christian Church, 201 S. Genesee Street, will celebrate the Resurrection of Christ on Easter Sunday, April 4, at 10:00 a.m. Holy Communion is offered. Shelly Jaquet will sing “Because He Lives” and a medley of Easter songs. Face masks are required entering and exiting the church; use supplied hand sanitizer.
Morrison Christian Reformed Church, 300 W. South Street, will hold a Joint Service on Easter Sunday, April 4, at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 1208 3rd Avenue, Fulton, IL, at 8:45 a.m. Face masks are suggested.
Morrison First Baptist Church, 406 Maple Avenue, celebrates Easter Sunday, April 4, at 10:00 a.m. Face masks are required entering and exiting the church. Easter is the beginning of open church services.
Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, will accommodate all who come to worship. Call the church office 815-772-4030 to make reservations for these services. All Holy Week services, except for the Good Friday Prayer Time, will be posted on YouTube (YouTube.com.) Search for Morrison United Methodist Church Illinois. On Maundy Thursday, April 1, 7:00 p.m., the service will focus on Scripture readings and hymns related to the Last Supper. Holy Communion will be served; Communion is an open table. Good Friday Prayer Time, April 2, is from noon to 3:00 p.m.; all are invited to come to the Chapel to pray and reflect on Jesus’s crucifixion. A Sunrise Easter Service, April 4, at 6:30 a.m., will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus during a half-hour service: as the first witnesses of Jesus’s resurrection came at daybreak to prepare his body, so the church will gather together. The main Easter Sunday Service, April 4, will be at 9:00 a.m., featuring special vocal music led by Choral Director John Frame; a song by Kids for Christ; Sunday School for the children; a message of hope on the significance of the resurrection.

St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church LCMS, 601 N. Jackson Street, on April 1, Maundy Thursday, a Lord’s Supper service begins at 7:30 p.m. Included is Stripping of the Altar, symbolically representing Christ being stripped of his power and handed over to his captors. Holy Communion will be celebrated. Good Friday service is April 2, at 7:30 p.m. On Easter Sunday, April 4, the Sunrise service is at 7:00 a.m., followed by breakfast from 8:00 to 9:15.
