Large numbers turned out for the Chamber of Commerce Christmas Walk and Lighted Parade, thanks, in part, to warm temperatures and a nearly full moon. The theme was appealing to attendees, window designers, and parade entry fabricators, too: The Polar Express. All five candidates for the office of Whiteside County Sheriff entered the parade with 36 other entries. Saturday, December 2, 2017, will be remembered as one of the best Christmas Walks in Morrison, IL.
Following are photographs of the Tree Lighting, Parade entries, and assorted moments of the evening.
