The City of Morrison Rec Program has developed its 2009 Summer Program. Following is a schedule and brief description of the activities offered. Enrollment fees are listed with each program and are due at registration. General registration forms are available at City Hall or online at thecity1.com (bottom of this page). Registrations are due at City Hall no later than Monday, June 1, 2009. City Hall is located at 200 West Main Street, Morrison, Illinois. You may mail the registration form or drop it off during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. To better make reservations for various special trips, etc. a one-time late registration fee of $5.00 will be charged for registrations received after June 1, 2009. NOTE: Completed release and permission forms are due with your registration. Please include only one child on each registration form and other forms.
The program locations are listed with each description. There are shelters available at French Creek Park, so the programs there will still be held in slightly adverse weather, however, inclement weather will cancel the program for that day. Every effort to make up the program will be attempted, but it is not guaranteed. Our special trips have a maximum number of participants that we can take, so you will want to register early. We will have a waiting list available, however, this does not secure a place in this trip as reservations are made prior to attending the special event. All transportation for special trips leaves from the Ebenezer Reformed Church’s parking lot. We will depart promptly at the times listed to arrive at the scheduled event times.
All children in the Morrison area for the summer are welcome to participate. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Theresa Farrell, Director at 815-718-2690 or mtfarrell@frontiernet.net. We hope to see you at our Summer Rec Program.
