Mustangs End Season with 4 OT Loss

Football playoffs are a special time for the successful schools that qualify for the IHSA State Championship each year, but Saturday’s game between the Bureau Valley Storm and the Morrison Mustangs left everyone exhausted on a day of strong winds and cold temperatures and a lot of football.

Morrison received the opening kick-off and gained two first downs before punting to the Storm. BV gained 6 yards before punting the ball out of bounds. Poor punts were the ‘norm’ as the winds controlled anything put in the air.
