2008 Year in Review

1% Sales Tax Public Meeting

A 1% Sales Tax public information meeting will be held on Monday, October 27th, 2008 at 6:00 at the Odell Public Library in the Community Center.

The purpose of the meeting is to present information including:

* An overview of how the Morrison School District would use the revenue from the 1% sales tax if approved,

* Projected revenue generated if approved,

* How the funds would be distributed to school districts,

* What would be taxed and what would not be taxed, and

* The list and projected costs of the Health-Life-Safety facility projects that the Morrison School District is required to complete in the next few years.

Time will also be provided for questions and answers.
