Southside Students Receive Educational Resources

Southside School in Morrison will sponsor a special assembly to distribute student dictionaries on Wednesday, September 10, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. in the Southside School library.

Southside School is pleased to announce that thanks to a very special and generous donation by the Morrison Rotary Club, each third grade student will receive a personal copy of “Webster’s Dictionary for Students.”

These dictionaries will become the personal property of each third grade child to keep and utilize throughout the duration of their educational career at Southside School and beyond.

This assembly will also kick-off our month long, all-school celebration entitled “Words for Wisdom,” which will feature a variety of fun facts and activities designed to stimulate students’ vocabulary and dictionary usage.
