2008 Year in Review

MJHS Open House

Morrison Junior High School will hold its annual Open House on Thursday, September 11, 2008 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. The format will be open, allowing parents, students, families and guardians free time to visit each teacher at their own convenience. Student schedules will be available in each student’s homeroom classroom for those who need information about their child’s teachers and classes. Teachers will discuss their expectations for the students, their goals for the year, and some ideas about how parents can help their child succeed in school. Parents will be asked if they would be willing to volunteer to help the students at MJHS, especially for: DVD (Dads’ Volunteer Day). Dads, at this year’s Open House, look for information on a special volunteering opportunity!

Parents are asked not to hold parent-teacher conferences during this program. However, a conference may be scheduled for a later date.

We hope that this new format will make it easier for parents and guardians to attend the MJHS Open House and learn about their child’s junior high experience. Our hope is that one hundred percent of our students will be represented by parents and guardians attending this Open House.
