Why The Changes for 2008 Prom

TheCity1.com has received several emails and phone calls as to why the time for the High School Grand March was changed to 4 p.m. and Prom is on Saturday instead of Friday.

According to High School representatives, many of the students had requested the time change to allow more time for eating between Grand March and the start of Prom. It would alleviate some of the rush. Morrison High School’s Prom was changed to Saturday instead of Friday to allow more time for the students to prepare. The students don't need to leave school on Friday morning to get their hair done or pick up a tux.
