Southside to Sponsor Spring Book Fair and Family Night

Southside School in Morrison will once again sponsor its annual spring book fair Tuesday, April 22nd through Thursday, April 24th, 2008, in the Southside School library. The book fair will be open daily during this week from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., as well as Tuesday evening from 3:00 – 7:30 p.m. for students and their families to select and purchase from a wide selection of books.

The theme for this year’s book fair is: “Take a Reading Road Trip! Bring the Whole Family!”

Keeping with this theme, the week will also feature two special adventures for the entire family:

Grandparents Day Lunch: Grandparents, aunts, uncles, or other family members are invited to enjoy lunch as their student’s special guest on designated days throughout the week. After lunch, families are invited to peruse the book fair’s large selection of books to find great reads for every member of the family. Please contact the Southside School Main Office for a schedule of lunch days, times, or for more information.

Family Night: Join us on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Southside School library for Family Night. This reading road trip will feature guest readers, family activities and more! The book fair will be open and available for families to make book selections and purchases.
