Southside School Fifth Grade Band Performance

The Morrison Southside School Fifth Grade Band will be the featured performers on a piece entitled “Beginners Debut” during the Unit 6 music concert on Thursday, March 13.

These students will be accompanied on stage by the Junior High Band in a medley of pieces outlining their progress in learning to play musical instruments. The concert will take place in the Morrison High School Auditorium and will begin at 7 p.m.

Members of the Southside School band are Alyssa Canales, Hannah Carlson, Joselin Frias, Holly Johnson, Kameron Koser, Emily Kuehl, Abigail Kull, Hannah Norman, Ashley Stralow, Mya Stuart and Amber Vegter on flute; Jacqualyn Shaner on oboe; Stephanie Brown, Rachel Davis, Allison Kuehl, Erin Nelson, Kyla Sibly, Colton Smith, and Christian Ufkin on clarinet; Noah Blacklock, Hunter Ferguson, Lakin Goodman and Gabrielle Sheddan on saxophone; Christian Garcia, Andrew Screnock, Mason Sitzmore and Kyle Workman on trumpet; Marcus Maxfield and Anthony Tenboer on trombone; and Tyson Anderson, Abby Benson, Collin Bland, Nick Bush, Kelsey Middleton and Danielle Sheddan on percussion.

This will be the second public performance for these students. They are taught by Mr. David Bean and Mrs. Darlene Powers-Palmer.

The concert is open to the public, and there is no admission charge.
