Youth From Open Bible Church Will Travel to Mexico City

A group of 13 young people and six adults from Open Bible Fellowship Church of Morrison will be traveling to Mexico City to worth with Operation Serve International from July 7 through July 14. The group will be serving those who live and work in the garbage cities and slums. They will also partnership with local pastors, churches and ministries to evangelize the surrounding communities in the Mexico City area.

While there, the group will be working alongside OSI personnel to provide medical, dental, optical, personal hygiene, education and children’s ministry to thousands of people through mobile clinics. They will share Christ in various ways such as puppets, drama, sports and music.

The cost for each person to participate is approximately $1,400. The group is holding several fund raisers to help with these costs. They are selling discount cards good at participating businesses, pizza sales, Dutch Days Food Stand, etc. Their next fund raiser will be a group garage sale on May 19 held at 513 Barden Street and a second location at the corner of Lincolnway and Cherry Streets.
