Vacation Bible School Committee Needs Your Help

Morrison Community Vacation Bible School is an annual event. The churches of Morrison come together every year in July to provide a fun-filled week for the children of Morrison and the surrounding towns. There are songs, stories, games, and crafts to teach the children about God's love.

The planning committee is made up of volunteers from several area churches. They begin meeting in February. It takes a lot of planning and organizing in order for VBS to be a success. The first meeting of this year only four consisted of representatives from four churches: Ebenezer, Emmanuel, BIC, and United Methodist.

The committee needs more volunteers to step up and help. Ideally, they would like two people from each church to be on the planning committee. The next meeting is Monday, March 19, starting at 6:30 at Ebenezer Church, 309 E. Park St. If you have any questions, please contact Tonia Ernst at 772-2816.
