Fresh-Soph Host Fulton

On April 13, the Fresh/Soph Fillies hosted the Fulton Fresh/Soph Steamers with Ashlie Patten pitching. Fulton was out in order in the first. Megan Nelson singled, Ashlie Patten doubled, but the Fillies could not score in their first inning.

The Steamers were out in order in the second. The Fillies could not score in their half of the second. Patton put the Steamers down in order in the third. Kyla Renkes reached first and eventually stole home for the Fillies first run. Fulton was out in order in the fourth. In the Fillies fourth, Alene Vandermyde singled, Callie Bush reached on a fielders choice, Renkes singled to score Vandermyde and Bush. Megan Nelson singled to score Renkes. The
Fillies scored 3 runs in that inning.

Fulton was out in order in the fifth. Morrison did not score in their fifth. The Steamers went 1,2,3 in the sixth inning. The Fillies left two on in the sixth. Fulton managed their first hit in the seventh, but could not score.

The Fillies had 9 hits and scored 4 runs. Ashlie Patten faced 22 batters, striking out 15 and only allowed one hit for the victory. The Fillies won the game 4-0.
