How Will I Get Through the Holidays?

Holidays can be a very tough time for families and individuals who have lost love ones.

"How to cope during the holidays" will be presented as a free service from the Hospice of the Rock River Valley on Thursday, December 1 at the Hospice of the Rock River Valley, located at 264 IL Route 2, Dixon, IL.

Everyone is invited to come from 6:30-7 p.m. and make a memory ornament before the program begins at 7p.m. The program will last until 8:30.

Learn the 4-C's of Coping: Communicate; Change; Cut Back; and Celebrate. A video by Earl Grollman entitled “Coping With Special Days” will be presented.

A Candle Lighting Ceremony will be held and door prizes and light refreshments will be served.
