Pam Pickens wrote her first story, lampooning the teachers at Savanna Junior High, for her 6th grade English teacher. Unsure if her effort would get her laughs or detention, she was thrilled to get a belly laugh and a big thumbs up. She’s been hooked on writing ever since.

A proud member of the Baby Boom generation, she begins her new series titled “Growing Up Boomer.”
