Jordan Hart needed scoring assistance from only three teammates to aid the Kewanee Boilermakers to a non-conference win over the Morrison Mustangs Saturday night.
The Mustangs and Boilermakers will compete as conference foes next year when Kewanee will exit the NCIC Conference to join the Big Rivers Conference. However, Saturday night Jordan Hart threw in six three- pointers, six two pointers and was perfect at the free-throw line (7 for 7) to tally a night’s effort at 37 points. The Mustangs entered half tied at 21 and took a formable lead after three quarters 43-34, but were edged by ten in the fourth. The Mustangs’ missed opportunities at the free throw line (14 of 31) made the loss even harder to digest.
