Third year coach, Ben Songeroth, can’t wait for the weather to allow his Mustangs to take the field. He is excited to start play, but he is very anxious to see individuals in certain positions and develop a more confident grasp of this team’s potential.
IHS Shrine Game July 13

The Illinois Coaches Association and the Shriners of Illinois will host the 39th annual Illinois High School Shrine Game on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Tucci Stadium on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University, in Bloomington, IL. Kick-off is at 6:30 p.m. Pregame festivities begin at 5:30 with entertainment by Jesse White Tumblers. Three area young men will participate.
Shoup Earns Silver at State Finals

Austin Shoup capped off his wrestling season with a runner-up finish at the AAU State Wrestling Tournament held Saturday, March 9, and Sunday, March 10, 2013, in Springfield, IL. Shoup continued his scoring prowess over the weekend stringing together four consecutive wins before being stopped in the finals.

Austin Shouper-Star Qualifies for State

Morrison High School sophomore wrestler Austin Shoup earned himself a trip to the AAU State Wrestling Championships, to be held Saturday, March 9, and Sunday, March 10, 2013, in Springfield, IL. He did so after winning consecutive Championships at the Regional and Sectional Tournaments.
