Morrison Southside School Fifth Grade Band Performance Print E-mail

The Morrison Southside School Fifth Grade Band will be the featured performers on a piece entitled “Beginners Debut” during the MJHS Contest Concert on Thursday, March 18, 2010.  The fifth grade students will be accompanied on stage by the Junior High Band in a medley of pieces outlining their progress in learning to play musical instruments.  The concert will take place in the Morrison High School Auditorium and will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Members of the Southside School band are Allison Houldson, Lilian Maxfield, Michaela McNeece, Kaylene Schroeder, Cheyenne Wiersema, and Karissa McIlrath, flute; Maya Zinke, oboe; Aubrey Bush, Jericha Stout, and Megan Szabo, clarinet; Darrin Bielema, Harrison Lippens, and Courtney Stearns, alto saxophone; Bailey Hall and Erik Kull, cornet; Tyree Dillard, Zachary Osborn, and Elizabeth Schmidt, trombone; Joseph Eads, baritone horn.  These students are taught by Mr. David Bean and Mrs. Darlene Powers-Palmer.  This will be the second public performance for these students.

The concert is open to the public, and there is no admission charge.
